The Philadelphia Phillies have been one of the worst teams in baseball all year when you consider their record, but a closer look shows they’re actually closer to becoming competitive again. The club’s future is beginning to formulate, with emerging talented hitters like Maikel Franco and Cesar Hernandez producing within the lineup, and electric young arms like Aaron Nola and Jerad Eickhoff getting the chance to showcase their stuff every fifth day while contributing to the pitching staff. The performance of Philadelphia’s youth movement as of late is why the Phillies walk into September with a chance to escape the NL East cellar.

The division and the playoffs have long been pipe dreams this year, but Philadelphia still has a chance to work their way up the standings and pass the Miami Marlins and/or Atlanta Braves. If they can surpass both, they’ll not only avoid last-place, but they’ll also finish third in the division. A rebuilding Phillies team will take all of the positive momentum it can get, while their fans are in for a deal to end the year, as Phillies tickets are just $58.67 on average according to Razorgator.

Let’s see just how good Phillies fans have it in terms of value as we take a look at Philadelphia’s cheapest and most expensive games left on the docket:

Cheapest – 9/20/2015 @ Atlanta Braves at Turner Field | Avg: $43 | Get-in $3

When we say cheap, we mean it. Top-notch seats are going to be had in this battle with the Braves at Turner Field, as an average ticket price of $43 means there is plenty of elite seating that can be acquired at major value. Not only that, Braves and Phillies fans alike are in for a bargain with the cheap seats being just $3. Furthermore, in addition to saving a lot on tickets, fans also have the opportunity to do the same with their Atlanta parking, as ParkWhiz.com has spots around the stadium for this game starting from just $6.60.

While the value is clear to see, it’s an even better game than fans would initially think, as these two NL East rivals are battling it out to avoid the bottom of the division. The Phillies may enter this road game with a little extra confidence, as they currently hold a 7-6 season series edge over Atlanta.

Most Expensive – 9/11/2015 VS. Chicago Cubs at Citizens Bank Park | Avg: $61.80 | Get-in: $11

Fans interested in knowing the most expensive game left on the schedule can check out Philadelphia’s September 22 meeting with the Marlins in Miami ($84.07 average ticket price), but this showdown with the Cubs ends up being Philly’s priciest game at home this month.

Chicago is a big draw no matter where they play, and even more so this year in which they look playoff-bound for the first time in several years. For a Cubs game, though, this is actually relatively low-priced, as fans from both sides can get into Citizens Bank Park for just $61.80 on average, while the cheap seats are only $11. That makes for some cheap premium seats in what could be an offensive explosion, if the first series between these two clubs was any indication. Interestingly, the Phillies swept the three-game set at Wrigley Field, and plated a surprising 21 runs combined in those contests. With nothing to lose, there’s a solid chance Philadelphia puts on a show at home in this one, while the value is even enhanced by a cool Knit Hat Giveaway. In addition, ParkWhiz.com has great deals on Citizens Bank Park parking for this game, with spots available for as little as $10.
